Getting Started with LifeSpeak from Torchlight Parenting & Caregiving

What is LifeSpeak?

LifeSpeak is the platform that now delivers your Torchlight Parenting & Caregiving experience. It brings the support you already know into one connected place within LifeSpeak.

You’ll continue to have access to trusted resources, expert guidance, and personalized support—now through an experience that’s easier to navigate and designed to help you find relevant support more easily. LifeSpeak also brings other areas of wellbeing together in one place, while keeping parenting and caregiving support distinct and easy to access.

Your access is confidential and available anytime through your benefits.

What will happen on the transition date?

On your organization’s transition date, your Torchlight experience will move into LifeSpeak. You may receive a welcome email from member.support@lifespeak.com with instructions to access LifeSpeak, or guidance directly from your employer or benefits administrator.

If you try to access Torchlight after the transition date, you’ll be redirected to LifeSpeak.

How do I access LifeSpeak?

Once your organization has migrated, you can access LifeSpeak by visiting portal.lifespeak.com and logging in with the credentials provided through email from LifeSpeak or directly from your employer or benefits administrator.

LifeSpeak is also available through the LifeSpeak mobile app, which you can download from the App Store or Google Play.

If you have trouble accessing LifeSpeak, please try a password reset. Then, as needed, contact member.support@lifespeak.com for assistance.

Do I need to create a new account or reset my password?

Yes. The username and password that you use to access Torchlight will no longer be applicable. Once your organization has migrated, you can access LifeSpeak by visiting portal.lifespeak.com and logging in with the credentials provided through email from LifeSpeak or directly from your employer or benefits administrator.

If you have trouble logging in to LifeSpeak, please try a password reset. Then, as needed, contact member.support@lifespeak.com for assistance. Once your account is established, you are free to change your name and email address within your account settings. This information does not need to correspond to your corporate/employer credentials once you have set up the account initially.

With the new Parenting & Caregiving track in LifeSpeak, you will be able to access LifeSpeak resources, including webinars, using a single set of login credentials. You will be asked to create new care profiles within LifeSpeak. However, this means you no longer need to manage multiple accounts or sign in separately for different parenting and caregiving needs—everything is now available in one place.

How is LifeSpeak different from Torchlight?

LifeSpeak builds on the Torchlight experience by delivering parenting and caregiving support through a more connected and modern platform.

What kind of parenting and caregiving support is available?

LifeSpeak’s Parenting & Caregiving support includes expert-led articles, videos, and tools covering topics such as childcare, school and education planning, special needs, eldercare, dementia, family dynamics, and navigating care decisions.

The content is designed to be practical, approachable, and relevant to real-life caregiving situations.

Does LifeSpeak offer one-on-one expert support?

Yes. From within your account, you can request a session with credentialed experts. These expert sessions can provide personalized guidance, answer questions, and help you navigate care options and resources.

Will the caregiving content feel different than before?

The caregiving support you’re familiar with remains available, now delivered through a refreshed experience. You may notice new ways to explore content, along with additional resources added over time as caregiving needs and topics evolve.

Does LifeSpeak offer real-time live sessions?

Yes. In addition to the one-on-one support described above, LifeSpeak offers live expert-led webinars and interactive sessions focused on parenting and caregiving topics. These sessions provide opportunities to learn from experts and ask questions anonymously. These sessions are also recorded and made available indefinitely, in case you are unable to attend live.

Is my information private and confidential?

Yes. Your activity within LifeSpeak is private and confidential. Your employer does not see the topics you explore, the questions you ask, or the support you receive. Only anonymous, aggregated information is used to understand overall usage trends.

Who do I contact if I have trouble accessing LifeSpeak?

If you experience any issues logging in or accessing LifeSpeak, it may help to request a password reset as a first step. You can also contact member.support@lifespeak.com, where the support team can help with access issues and technical questions.
